NIOS Admission Dates for October 2024 (Block 2)

NIOS Online Stream 2 Admission for April 2023

• NIOS 2023-24 admission is open for all students who failed to pass Class 10 or 12 examinations from any recognised board.

• Additionally, they may transfer up to two subjects from the parent board through the Transfer of Credit (TOC) process.

• Students must pass the subjects with a minimum of 33% marks or equivalent scores.

NIOS 2023-24 Admission- Eligibility Criteria

Students may apply for admission to NIOS 2023–24 if they meet the NIOS eligibility criteria. Below are the requirements for NIOS online admission:

Age Limit

• The minimum age limit for NIOS 10th admission is 14 years as on July 31, 2023.

• For NIOS 12th admission, the minimum age limit is 15 years as on July 31, 2023.

Minimum Education

• He/she must have cleared class 8 from the recognised board or must possess enough knowledge to sit for the class 10 exam. A candidate giving self-certificate and stating that they have studied enough to be eligible for NIOS 10th registration 2023-24.

• He/she must have cleared class 10 from a recognized board to apply for NIOS class 12 registration 2023-24. Students applying immediately after passing the 10th will not be allowed to sit for all subject exams in one attempt.

Documents Required for NIOS Admission 2023-24

Students applying for NIOS admission online must upload scanned copies of their documents. These documents are accepted for NIOS 10th or 12th admission as proof of eligibility. A candidate who submits all the required documents in jpg or jpeg format will be issued a NIOS admit card 2023-24.

Here’s the list of documents required for NIOS online admission 2023:

• Aadhaar card or passport or ration card or other identity proof.

• Birth certificate for proof of date of birth

• Address proof, i.e. Aadhaar card/water bill/electricity bill/voter ID/ration card

• Signature (preferably in black ink)

• Recent passport-size colour photograph

• Class 8th mark sheet for students applying for the NIOS 10th or secondary course

• class 10th mark sheet to apply for NIOS 12th exams 2023.

• Disability certificate for PwD candidates

• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

• Ex-serviceman certificate for candidates applying under the Ex-serviceman category.

How to apply for NIOS Admission 2023-24 (Class 10th & 12th)?

Fill out the NIOS admission 2023-24 form for Classes 10 and 12 by following the instructions below..

1. Visit the official website by clicking the link above. It will display the NIOS 10th and 12th form home page as seen below:

2. Read the provided guidelines, choose your state and identity type, enter your identity number, and choose the course you’re applying for.

3. As soon as you click the submit button, you will be redirected to the next section, i.e. the basic information section.

4. Fill out the NIOS admission form for 2023–24 accurately, including your name, address, phone number, and other pertinent information.

5. As shown in the following image, you need to enable the declaration box and then click on next:

6. Fill up the appropriate fields with optional information and submit it.

7. The next step is to select the subjects you wish to appear in and choose the exam centre.

8. Scan the original documents, then upload them.

9. Verify the details on the form and ensure they are accurate.

10. If everything is correct, pay; otherwise, edit the incorrect details.

11. A candidate can now track their NIOS admission status online.

NIOS Admission 2023-24 Fees

NIOS applicants must pay the admission fee to apply for NIOS 2023-24 admission online. Payment for the admission fee should be made online through a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

NIOS Admission Fee for April 2023-24

In addition to the fees listed above, registering for additional subjects costs Rs. 720 per subject. Students must pay 50 rupees to obtain the online application form. After receiving admissions acceptance, the student must pay the NIOS exam fees 2023-24 to be eligible for the examination.

NIOS Admission Status 2023-24

• Students should start studying for the examinations as soon as they have completed the online NIOS form. To devise a plan for the examinations, they should assess the NIOS syllabus 2023-24.

What to do After Getting NIOS Admission 2023-24?

• The authorities send the enrollment number to the registered mobile number and email address after approving the NIOS 2023–24 admission.

• With the NIOS students portal, students may download their ID cards.

• After their enrollment has been confirmed, students must pay NIOS exam fees to submit their application forms for the April 2023 examinations.
